Grants are made only to individuals (young women from year 10, aged 15-25) and in the first instance for one year. They will not exceed £1,500.
Candidates may apply for help with fees, travel, maintenance or books. Please note that you are expected to ask for an exact sum. We do not find it helpful to be asked for "what you can afford"!
We usually expect candidates to contribute something themselves or from other sources towards their costs.
When schools assist students making applications we can only accept 10 applications per school.
In the event of a candidate not undertaking a course for which a grant has been made, for whatever reason, the grant must be returned to the Fund.
Grant holders will be expected to write a Report for the Committee on their course or experience.
